OPEN TO STUDENTS IN BUSINESS DISCIPLINES ONLY

***Application should be submitted to Prof. Zimmerman and need to be selected for recommendations first.***

This firm is Mediterranean Shipping Company, a privately-owned global business with offices all around the world. In addition to operating the second largest global shipping company, they also operate a cruise line. There are limited openings and we will recommend approximately six people to the general manager. The firm will consider American as well as international students.

This opportunity is open for students from all business disciplines. Of course this experience is ideal for international business majors but it will be equally valuable for accounting, marketing, finance, economics or management majors as well.
The rate of pay for undergraduate interns is $11/hour for a maximum of 29 hours per week (or four days work). Students will be asked to do professional work in one of the 40 departments in their New York office.

They are seeking individuals with the following general characteristics:
positive attitude, willingness to learn, integrity, desire to accept new responsibilities, problem solving skills and the ability to work in teams. It is important that students are able to use the following computer software: Outlook, Excel and Word and have excellent English language skills.

If you are interested in pursuing this unique opportunity, please complete the application form and related materials. A School of Business committee will review the applications and select those we will recommend to the firm.

The deadline for submission of your application including all the required materials is March 24.
